Session: 8:30 – 9:30 pm, transparency average.Telescope: 15in f/4.5 ReflectorEyepiece: All observations made with 13mm eyepiece (~131x)A short session, with moon-rise close to 10pm. M97 (Ursa Major) Planetary. Located it via Merak. Faint nebulosity in shell. Eyes very faint tonight. M108 (Ursa Major) Galaxy. Located ~1 deg NW from Owl Neb. Edge on galaxy. Fairly bright, and mottled. No clear bulge in center.
