Pecos National Historic Park – Lunar Eclipse Outreach (Evening of August 27)

We are needing one to two telescopes to support a small lunar eclipse based event at the Pecos National Historic Park.  This event will likely be held adjacent to the Spanish Mission.  Moonrise starts at 7:30 pm, and the eclipse will start at 8:30.  It is likely that the event will end after maximum eclipse, which will be about 10:15. PNHP will be limiting visitors via registration, and will likely be keep to a small number of attendees.  If you are interested in attending as a volunteer send an email to president@santafestargazers.org
