Public Viewing: Total Lunar Eclipse

On Sunday evening, May 15, one of nature’s grand displays of majestic beauty will occur: a total lunar eclipse. The Santa Fe Stargazers invite you to join us to watch the full moon turn “blood” red while passing through the Earth’s shadow. Our volunteers will set up telescopes and binoculars for close-up views of the eclipse — plus, if we can, a few gems of the night sky. And we will be delighted to answer your questions about this lunar eclipse, or discuss eclipses and other topics of interest to you in astronomy generally.
