DESCRIPTION:The Santa Fe Stargazers General Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday\, February 19th\, 2025\, beginning at 7:00 PM MST.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda:\n\n\n\n\nMonthly Sky Report: Robert Powers   \nFeatured Presentations: Jim Baker will lead a special session in our Beginners’ Presentation Series: \n\nA beginner-friendly talk about the three types of alignments you need to understand in order to use your telescope. As we know\, this is also an opportunity for experienced star gazers to refresh and update their knowledge\, as well as contributing useful tips and advice from their experience.\n“Two Total Solar Eclipses of a Lifetime Approaching” – 2027-28 will bring two spectacular eclipses. Both feature long durations of totality\, very favorable weather forecasts\, and iconic tourist locations.  Jim will take an in depth look at both eclipses\, including options to experience these eclipses of a lifetime.\n\n\nBusiness Meeting\n\n  \nAs usual\, this will be a hybrid meeting\, at the Vista Grande Public Library and online via Zoom.\nMake sure to be a subscriber to our emails to receive updates\, reminders\, and links.
