SUMMARY:Astrophotography Special Interest Group Launch
DESCRIPTION:Santa Fe Stargazers Astrophotography SIG Launch Meeting\nThe first meeting of the AP-SIG will be Wednesday\, April 9th at 7PM to 9PM.  The in-person meeting will be in the Railroad Building* at the Eldorado Community Center (ECIA).  See below for a link to the online (Zoom) version. \nSince there will be a lot of “firsts” involved\, I can’t guarantee much of anything.  I have used the ECIA facility access system before\, so have at least some confidence that we’ll be able to get inside.  But any number of things could go wrong with the Zoom meeting.  Please be patient. \nI look forward to seeing you there. \nClear Skies\,\nGreg Marshall \n* The yellow building between the main building that houses the ECIA offices and the maintenance building. \nZoom Link: Look for it in our email announcement sent on April 8\, 5PM.

SUMMARY:SF Stargazers - Special Beginners Meeting
DESCRIPTION:At our monthly meeting for May\, the Santa Fe Stargazers (SFSG) will focus on helping beginners to amateur astronomy. \nAlthough we would prefer in-person attendance\, especially by our newcomers to amateur astronomy\, the option is available to participate on-line with Zoom.\nPlease join us! The public\, including families\, is warmly invited to attend our Special Beginners Meeting. \nParticularly if you want to participate on-line\, please sign up with the Santa Fe Stargazers at our website: SFS Website.  Members will receive an email with instructions on how to attend the meeting via Zoom. \nRemember: Both SFSG membership and our Special Beginners Meeting are free of charge. \nWe believe there are only two kinds of amateur astronomers: beginners\, and those who used to be beginners. Both should find this special meeting fun and rewarding. \nFor further information\, please contact the SFSG via email at: events@santafestargazers.org.
